The Year of the Borat
Quirky week ahead. New Moon arrives on the 17th in late Aquarius at
8:14 am PST. The Sun enters Pisces on the 18th at 5:09 pm PST as the
Chinese New Year enters the year of the Boar. Presidents Day is the
19th. Why the hell would we celebrate that? Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday
comes the 20th. Ash Wednesday is upon the 21st with Venus going through
the Omega/Alpha point as it enters Aries at 12:22 am PST. Thursday.....
oh hell....... just call it a day........
Doesn't it all feel odd, odd, odd. That's the way it always is. You are
becoming more aware of it. This won't be the year of the Bore in the
sense of no drama; there's plenty of that in store. What is and will be
boring is that you are realizing that the Dream is the endless
regurgitation and reconsumption of the same old same old drama called
the Karmic Wheel. It isn't getting better or worse. It's the same ad
infinitum. Ya, tired yet?
You are the fun. Let go of getting fun from the Game. Otherwise it'll
smell all the more gamey while you think you are the one that stinks.
You can try to nose/knows more or less. That doesn't work either. If
you be, you see. If you be, you choose. If you be, you play with the
movie as it melts and you don't get lost in the everlasting projections
that just go in circles. Belief, truth, power, grace, stuff, meditation
and chewing gum will not relieve you of suffering. Suffering is the
endless search for yourself in all those stories. Claim your own
consciousness and clear your own karma. Enjoy yourself with all the
weirdness passing under the bridge.
Here's some weird tidbits for the fun of it:
-
Borat's brother is Simon Baron Cohen, a world class Cambridge expert on
autism. Was he studying his wonderfully weird brother since childhood?
Make sensy time? Upon winning his Golden Globes award, Sacha spoke at
length of his fellow actor's anus and golden globes in real high
definition tv.
-
Dow Chemical currently is running a very prominent advertisement with
the word: Hu. The religious philosophy of Eckankar considers that HU,
the sacred word, is woven into the language of life. It is the Sound of
all sounds. Now that's what we think of when we think of Dow Chemical!
It gets creepier every day.

Current government statistics reveal what are the ten highest states,
with just a few exceptions, in these categories: Incarceration,
Obesity, Gambling, Divorce, Unwed Pregnancies, Executions, Firearm
Deaths and Suicide occurring in the predominantly Republican morals
pandering Red states. Perhaps more study on the seven deadly sins would
be better than projecting them onto all the other folks who are getting
along just fine for Christ's Sake. (see Nov. 2006 Vanity Fair)
-
South Korea has been killing its pigs, cats and dogs as prevention
against bird flu.
-
George W. Bush is president.
-
A German Lutheran pastor recently self immolated himself to death. His
last sermon voiced concerned that Islam was overwhelming Europe.
-
The Dalai Lama would be glad to not reincarnate as the Dalai Lama
anymore. (see 11/16/05 Charlie Rose interview)
-
The actress, Karolyn Grimes, who played Zuzu in It's a Wonderful Life,
who told George Bailey that every time a bell rings an angel gets his
wings, had her movie career fade thereafter with her mother being
terminally ill and dying when the girl was 14. Her dad died in a car
accident a year later. She was orphaned to a bad situation for the rest
of her childhood. Her 18 year old son killed himself. Husband number
one died in a hunting accident and number two died of cancer. She sells
her own Zuzu Bailey's It's a Wonderful Life Cookbook.
Happy Pisces,
Mark
