Open Jewel EyeMercury is retrograde from 12:34 pm PDT on the 4th until 5:40 pm PDT on the 28th. If you are holidaying that weekend, go home on the 3rd or the 5th for a smoother ride. For a little balance, Jupiter goes direct on the 6th at 12:19 am PDT. What you are likely going to see is a trend in which things are going well but you don’t think or feel that they are going well. That’s thinking and feeling for ya. Be present with situations and let those nagging, niggling thoughts and noisy ripples in the belly go. I understand gut feelings in relation to intuition, but this month the emotional can guise itself as intuition and lead you somewhere you may not have fully wanted to go. No need to fret and regret. Just take your time when decisions arise, but don’t take too much time. Idleness is the mind’s workshop for cooking up more work for you. Get mad at worry. Cut through the old crap. There’s a thick fog of depression running through everything. Don’t buy it. Trade it in with humor. Play around with the situations you find yourself in, be they internal or external dilemmas. Flow will show if you just let go. The Grand Cross that stretched effectively over nine months is now passed. You can get on with your life. The jerky obstacle laden path shall clear sooner rather than later. Continue to allow your shadow issues to come up and let them go. The pump has been primed so that those issues will be with you ongoingly in your face, unless you do face them and let them go. No worries…… unless you deny them. This July is a wonderful month. You may have a considerable hangover from the grinding of this year, but if you can see beyond that: lovely. Enjoy your wonderful self, your Jewel I. There’s a gracious flow afoot. Ride your intentions in your choice life. If you persist in struggle, you’ll get struggle back atchya. If you let go of your identification in the old stories, you will go with the flow. May the flow be with you and you be with it. For much of the month there’ll be a Grand Trine in the Planets. Jupiter in Scorpio trines to Uranus in Pisces; the Sun makes it all Grand as it passes through Cancer and, late in the month, Venus goes through that area of Cancer as well. Be very clear in what you value. Be intentional in your manifestation of that which you value. If you aren’t proactive, your karma will pick for you, very efficiently loaded with the dregs and naughts of your past. Don’t settle for the good karma/bad karma trade game. Karma is karma. It’s just old stories that want to occupy your present and thereby future. Who needs it? Who kneads it? If that be you, consider letting those stories go. Be your self and choose freely. You just aren’t something bad that needs/kneads to be good, including your karma. The middle section of the month offers a Mystic Rectangle in the planetary geometries. Mars in Leo opposes to Neptune in Aquarius. That opposition is in trine/sextile to the opposition of Pluto in Sagittarius and Venus in Gemini. Intention is again key. If you struggle after what you want, it will melt before you get there. If you intend for manifestation, what you want will come to you. You’ll like that better; but the old way is deep and familiar. So let your self feel uncomfortable in the “not knowing” and allow what you want to come visit with you. If you are aware, you will be choiceful. Issues of freedom will be up collectively and personally. The freedom that is sold by the Bush administration is the freedom of corporations to make gross profits at the expense of human’s and species’ freedoms. Freedom is being your self. The world doesn’t want us to be our selves. It wants us to do something to be somebody. I bet you are real tired of that. Fire the mind. Fire the to-do lists. Fire the projections and the endless seeking. Be and choose instead of know and do. Sounds simple. It is. Sounds stupid. It’s not. What we have been conditioned to is to stupefy and go fetch after stuff material and spiritual that purports to fulfill us, but instead leaves us holding a larger karmic bag. It’s your choice whether to have the life you want or to have little incremental betterments on the way of grave concerns. I’ve been in the western USA for some months and it sure looks like and feels like a nasty fire season. If the Grand Trine in Water Signs can muster some timely rains, it’d be much appreciated. The unprocessed karmic burn of the Grand Cross can manifest physical burns like forest fires, Ring of Fire burns and rumbles and feverish symptoms in people, places and things. Express yourself in real time rather than stuffing emotions that will inflame you and those around you. It’s Cancer month. Yours truly was born on Bastille Day in July, so I speak from deep experience. As with Leo, it is ruled by one of the Lights. Leo is ruled by the Sun; Cancer is ruled by the Moon. They are the only two Signs ruled by only one planet each; all the others have co-rulerships. Cancer and Leo are inherently sovereign. The party line is that they are selfish. I see them as self-ful. Be yourself. If you aren’t self-ful you are going to be selfish. And remember that abject service and co-dependence is selfish in its intent while covering it in the name of something Higher. Be yourself. The spiritual greediness of humility and surrender will be revealed in the years ahead. Drop the baggage; you aren’t going anywhere in the ways that you think. Cancer and Leo get conditioned early on to think of others when they are naturally their selves and it sets up patterns of over giving. Leo is usually considered to be prima donna selfish but people don’t see that Leos are often giving in ways unseen. They light up people and there’s a lot to be said for that. Cancers and Leos can now come off of the notions of over giving and over getting. Carry on being yourselves. If the others don’t like it, the can lump it…. in with their other karmic baggage. Sensitivity is the watchword for Cancer. So is nurturance. All that mommy stuff is large. Food is a major issue. So is home. Folks always ask me how I as a Cancer can travel all over all the time. It’s cuz I make home wherever I am. I choose to make home in my being and the rest falls into place. The key to Cancer is focus. When they focus, they can’t be distracted. This is where some of the notion of selfishness and narcissism gets conjured for this Sign. Cancer is inherently capable of going for what it wants while tracking what is going on with others. The shadow is to overcompensate by getting too involved in the other and losing one’s self. That is a life long discovery for Cancer. If they don’t track their self, they get crabby. They crab around issues when they don’t want others to interfere in their watery, intuitive process of finding their way in life. Cancers can be totally annoying, but are generally delightful in their fluidity in relation to others. The others usually feel loved, appreciated and cared fore when hanging with the homies. For this month of July, let your tender parts out. Let vulnerability melt into your own beingness. Express all of your delicious self, including those old, moldy bits. Be aware and allow a wide expanse of humor. You can see amazing shifts in your life in the next four weeks. Jump in, the Water is fine.
