It's the young time of the year. Jeune. Your karma may be old but that doesn't mean you can't kick up your heels and frolic. There is still a great deal of tension running through the psyche. There's three weeks of the Grand Cross left. It shimmers in different variations and will fade later in the month. Utilize the focus of letting go what isn't you and what you don't want; all of it. Mars heads into Leo, joining Saturn, on the 3rd at 11:43 am PDT. Love and war are mounting. Is there really much difference? They are each an attack but the shadow of love is denied because it holds the Dream together in the metaphysics just as gravity is the glue in physics. Neither are well understood. Ah, the mystery. More will be revealed in the weeks ahead.

June is the change month. In the Chinese I Ching’s hexagrams, the sixth line is the changing line on the way to a new hexagram. In the book of changes called the calendar, June is the sixth month. The change of graduation is common this time of year as people shift from one realm to another, one life phase to beyond. There’s the ultimate realm change, called marriage, that be-fames June. This month brings the ascendancy of the yang, the heat that is coming on. The soft green of tree leaves in spring shifts to the darkest blood of chlorophyll. Life and time fly swiftly as summer peaks at the solstice of June. Surf’s up. Let’s ride the wave.

As the Karmic Wheel turns, the kaleidoscope spins colors and shapes. The Dream of Creation endlessly morphs in collide/escape patterns. You merge and then emerge, die and are reborn, create and destruct. It’s perfect and it’s not you. Who you are is your own being, your own awareness, your own consciousness. That’s the thread that plays through the Dream. The Dream is collective. Your consciousness is not. The Dream would have it so, but it is a misunderstanding. You are not the Dream, nor are you in it. It’s the Dream’s game to suck you in to the play and distract you from your own being. You are not Consciousness, nor the mind, nor your body, nor your soul. Those are all projections of your own consciousness and their result is endless suffering. Suffering is simply the endless search for your self in the Dream. Truth and love and god and all of the all of the all One won’t ever cure the suffering. You can claim your own consciousness directly and clear your own identification in the karmic Dream, if you so choose.

This June of 2006 includes the anointed date: 6/6/06. Hollywood has some devilish movie scheduled to come out on that date (a remake of the Omen actually; we’d all like to re-do our omens.) If you paint your life by numbers, and I suppose we all do one way or another, then I reckon it is Satan’s once in a Millennium birthday. Have a hell of a good time. What would the god’s do without their demons……… Since it’s the 666 time of the year, ya can’t help but notice that it’s also the time of Sects Sects Sects. Every whacked group wants to do some whacking. There’ll be more noise from these marginalized bunches of sour gripes this month. Sex Sex Sex is forever popular. There’ll be some squirrelly revelations about what cavity the nuts are in this month. Sick Sick Sick…. Oh, that is so big, a perennial fave. What ills besmirch thy fevered brow, bro? The Audubondage of bird flu continues to sweep clever prophets to the pharmaceutical coughers. Our government is of course responsible for corporate profits above all else. You don’t need an Omen to foretell that. Money will be thrown to the proper pockets of dis-ease bearing agents. The world must find the alien that is ailing it and kill kill kill. The karma of chasing the good always begets its correspondent bad to confirm its loopy existence. We’re so healthy in the first world countries (and along with our entitled vanity), that we have to manifest our own disease so that we don’t have to look at obvious pandemics of AIDS and the old favorites that are making a comeback. It’s so Oprahtic. Finally it is Sic Sic Sic, as it were. Grinding the grist while milling around the mill. Are you noticing that underneath the Dream it’s the same old same old? Whether your are high in the spiritual or down and dirty in the mundane, the game of it all is ever more apparent. If you’ve got your head up your ascension, crashing is imminent. Higher will beget lower in the spin of it all. You’ll get to where you were getting away from sooner than later. If you are in the pits and heading lower, well……… you just may be getting buoyant to your surprise. Just be and choose; let be and let choice.

I view the planets of astrology as a cycling, symbolic mandala that you can read through to bring meaning to whatever you may be looking at. The planets don’t do anything to you. They represent the matrix of change. I’m not much interested in predictions, though I speak of trends so that the temper of the cosmic weather can be utilized for your comfort, entertainment and intention. Each month on this forum I’ll illustrate what I see playing out collectively and how it may affect you.

There’s been an intense Grand Cross in the Fixed Signs of the Zodiac, Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius, from Sept. 11, 2005 to Feb. 17, 2006 and now from April 19 to May 20 and May 29 to June 23, 2006. (For some of these weeks the intensity is extreme, but holding throughout these time periods is a sense of being very stuck. The length of time of this most potent of Grand Crosses is what is unique in our era. I call them karma burners because they offer to you the letting go of old stories that are not you.) You likely feel a strong pressure to change conflicted with the sense that you can’t change. You tend to be feeling very trapped. The double bind of the mind is being underscored all the way to the bottom of the Dream. You are noticing that you can’t win for losin’ and that such looping, depressive realizations happen to be rather accurate. You can’t escape the Wheel despite each collide in the scope of experience. You are seeing that hope covers the obvious, ignored hopelessness. You are seeing that the ability of love and spirit to cover the suffering (even the suffering that exists in heaven and abundance and being on high, etc.) is being revealed. Transcendence is denial. Awareness is freedom. Your awareness is delight and the Dream can’t generate delight in any real way.

This month of June highlights that things are alright and terribly not alright, all at the same time. That’s life for you, but it’s also the Promised Land for you. Whatever projections you chase after are paling in the light of your simple, direct awareness. The Game doesn’t work for you but you have to work for it. Truth and Self and God and Light and That and on and on and on are not clearing suffering for you. All or any projections maintain the projection Dream, even in the shiny nether lands of extreme spiritual states.

For June the planets are more evenly distributed around the wheel than I’ve ever seen before. It’s a very natural arrangement. There is a kind of harmony and rhythm. We are in some kind of Eden compared to something else, some other time. We are fortunate (if you are on the fortunate end of the pendulum swing). But that is what is particularly grating. Though things are great for so many and power you might say has been more equally distributed to so many more than ever before, there is still this feeling that things suck, that there’s not enough. Same for both the material wealth and the spiritual wealth and some folks have it all going on. I want you to see that the Good Times always come with the Bad Times. As we verge on Armageddonish times when the bad stuff is erupting in preparation for the promised landing, you get the grand good times with guilt laced through it. All these accomplished desires have begotten all these misbegotten fears. Sooooooooo………. do you see the game. Any attainment is projective foolery. You can just let go of getting the Truth or the Soul or the Big House on The Hill or whatever. Instead you can enjoy your self, your being while it all comes and goes as it always comes and goes. It’s your choice and that choice is not dependent on anything or anyone else. It’s just a choice.

Around June 17 to 19 there’s a deep shift. Mars and Saturn conjunct; they do that every couple of years. The drumbeats of war get loud. Remember that do-goodism is just as warful, that the positive attacks of love and such do just as much to invoke war. All of that will be seen now, cartoonishly. Also the Moon’s Nodes shift through Aries/Libra which is the beginning/ending point of the Zodiac. This is very noticeable these days. You’ll sense where it’s all going if you begin something. You’ll know that some ending just begets a new beginning and that new beginning isn’t so much different as we would like. So it’s all quite flat. It’s hard to decide on things and it’s hard to get going. Dears in the head blight powerfully going nowhere…… C’est la vie. N’est pas vous.

This is a magnificent time to be aware. Letting go is much more significant than where and how you may be going. You can come off of knowing and willing your life. You can come off of surrendering your knowing and willing to some greater something or other. You can be. You can be yourself intentionally and choose your way through your choice life with others likewise being with you. Go ahead.
