The Shifts Hit the FantasticHail to the New Year! May it be splendid for you. New Moon on the 30th at 7:12 pm PST in Capricorn-Cancer. Mercury and Pluto conjunct on the 31st at 3:16 am PST. Venus retrogrades back into Capricorn on the 1st at 12:18 pm PST. Mercury enters Capricorn on the 3rd at 1:26 pm PST. The Moon is void of course during the cusp between the old and new years. Give up the resolution thing. Do spend some time in the coming week with your intentions for the year ahead and beyond. Don't wish. Intend. Daydream all you like, but intend coherently and clearly through your own being for what you want to manifest for you. Other people's business is their business. Don't intend for them; it doesn't work in the ways you may think and is full of hooky karmic projections. Just simply, clearly be you and all the rest will be fine. For the week ahead, it's largely more of the same. There's various comings and goings in the planets. Capricorn is emphasized. It is bracketed by Mercury and Venus with the Sun in the middle of this greatly misunderstood sign. Capricorn is the most sensitive of the signs. That's why it tends to be the most defended. Beingness gets co-opted by doingness which begats all the games of power. Capricorn knows all about power, loathes and longs for it. But at the bottom of it all, Capricorn, like all the Signs and all beings, wants to realize itself. All the comings and goings of power, illustrate that power finally doesn't work. It grinds and groans, haunts and hallows but ultimately power is not worth the effort. It always comes packaged with powerlessness. In our Grand Cross transit of these recent months, power's powerless base is being revealed. When power goes, fear comes up, because power is inherently the fear-laden distraction from being one's self. Capricorn holds all of those ancient strategies to get on top, to control, to win and lord, both materially and spiritually. So.......... much more will be revealed about the trappings and vanities of power in the next twenty years. Abdicate whatever thrones you may cling to. You won't miss them ultimately. Judgement is held conspiciously in Capricorn. It's based in hierarchical structures full of the good and bad polarizations. This is one of the Game's most popular distractions. Gossip to dogma, fickle or fated, it's all drama drubbings. Don't forget all of the positives that are just as filled with projections. Praise is just positive blame. Pride is upleveled shame. Round and round it all goes. Discernment is choice. You may perceive all manner of things and qualities discerningly. This isn't really judgement. Judgement arises from a matrix of projections. When you tweeze them out, you see how silly it all is. Go ahead with opinions, judgements and the like. Trying not to judge is rife with judgement too. Let go of all the old spiritual truisms. They're more silly than they know. Give up the righteous wronging of your self and others. Simply express yourself and leave it at that. 2006 here we come.......... The Grand Cross echoes throughout the year. The Moon will transit through Taurus once per month and re-trigger the Cross. The Sun goes Taurean in later April. For a good portion of May and June, Mercury and then Venus transit through Taurus....... more layers grinding deeper and deeper at the crossroads. Mars returns to the party for June and July when it moves through Leo, but the Cross will fade with lunar echoes monthly until the end of the year. There's mucho Scorpio late in the year with all kinds of lying, cheating and stealing being revealed around the US mid-term elections in November. Pluto approaches the galactic center in March; then retreats, and in the last days of the year, it reachs that auspicious point in late Sagittarius. 2007 continues this Plutonic dance. Much, much more will be revealed. Power struggles are a major 2006 theme. Do you see that power is inherently a struggle with itself? The projections of power are the basis of Creation. Power is the story of change: who does what to whom and all the long loud lot of patterns that spin the web of the mind. Power in subtle or gross forms seems to offer solutions to problems. But finally things only wiggle or swing or revolve and the patterns of suffering carry on. The trick of the Game is to utilize higher powers to transcend suffering. In the end, this strategy only buries the problems through fancy denial. Power is deferred and powerlessness multiplies. In that cycle, you can see how power never works for you. You must work for it, slavishly. Spiritual and material power are sucker deals. Do what you want to do. I suggest that you give up the efforts of power. Don't surrender. That's only shifting your power up the ladder. Give up your higher power and your lower powerlessness. Let the old efforts of power burn for you in the year ahead. Instead, just be yourself and express yourself and make choices. Easy peacy. If you like struggle and drama and dharma.......... dive in with eyes wide shut and be prepared to take skeins of hits. You may lose your sense of humor and perspective if you buy the hooks, lines and sinkers of the master baiters. What are you fishing for in the Dream? The fun is you, not the Dream. If you want to believe and enchant otherwise, then this year is made for you. The ringers will take their toll and you'll be wrung out, in and all around. The astrology continues being primally existential in 2006 . This is one of the main reasons that I write to you in very repetitive ways. The planetary patterns are pummeling. Be or be done unto. Be or be had. Be or be-leave in projections that will snap your neck around and set you spinning. The gerbil wheel of karma spins like never before as everybody chases their 24 carrots on a stick while seeking the golden fleecing that is inevitable. All the powers aren't working like you think anymore. Despair precedes desperate acts. 2006 will be a cornucopia of desperation. The Grim Reaper is going to work overtime. What is being cut loose, in the tradition of Kali and Shiva, are all the old roots of all the grim grime of the collective and personal psyche. Do you really want to hang on to that crap? Let go baby, let go! Let Death have its way with what is dead to you. You are not coming apart. The parts that wrapped your being are departing. Hallelujah. Don't hide in the shed. Shed what has been hidden. Out with the old. Out with the new. Be. More people are going to be checking out of their bodies in wild and weird ways. Many souls will be lining up heaven bound. They spring board off of hell. Heaven must always stay attached to hell. This will become much more apparent. What the hell is going on for heaven's sake........ Get the picture? Pluto at the galactic center is auspicious. I've waited 28 years, since I became an astrologer, to see what will pop up in our era. Miracles, positive and negative, will be rampant. But ironically, the magic of miracles will be transparent and their effects ephemeral. The hope game just doesn't cut it anymore. Hope keeps you hopelessly embedded in the Dream. The veils are thin on all of this. People are really hurting! If they don't express their hurt in conscious ways, if they aren't letting the stuff go, power ploys will erupt from them in ugly warrish ways. Be aware of the spiritual and religious tyrannies. They give the material terrors a run for their money. Good will not get you out of bad anymore. It will be so much more clear, how useless good and bad are as a way of life. But it's the most popular station on the endlessly spinning dial. The year 2006 is a grand cartoon of the high/low, good/bad parade. If you've got anything holy, sacred and tabooed, burn that shit right now. Your precious anchors will sink you in the tsunamic onslaughts of waves in the psyche. This of course is extreeeeeeeemely against the grain of everything the higher mind tells you. Desperate times require higher powers. The chronic inadequacy of dependence on projections of all kind will come home to roost, egging you on to get more and more scrambled while keeping your sunny side up. What a crack up! I'd like to see you diminish your suffering in the years ahead. If you claim your own consciousness as who you are, you have the leverage to clear your identification in the suffering of the mind. I haven't seen anything else unwind the suffering in such an effective, simple, direct way. If this makes sense to you, contact me for a session. You won't miss the drama and dharma of seeking. The Bush legacy will continue to crash and burden. This ship of fools is running out of gas. Waiting in the wings are even more duplicitous slimeballs. They want your money and children. They'll get a lot of it for some time to come. Unless folks break the trance, the corporate boys are going to feed on the collective and individual corpuses. The economy is rocketing without a foundation. No one knows where it is going or what it is. Their is a new economy being created. It's much better than what we have known in the West in modern times. It can't be seen yet, but I see it cooking. We live in interesting times....... Be intentional about everything in your life. If not, you get your karma, your past, manifesting the same old same old with some window dressing on top. Be present and you'll have fun with the world. Go high, in any way, and you will be brought low. Just choose and drop all of the silly overlays of projection. Strange alien stuff will manifest in the mainstream in the next two years. Outer space and inner space beings are coming into form. Our garden of earthly delights is being shattered and catalyzed. The future is crashing into the past. Heads will roll. Bodies too. Restlessness is redolent. Veils are shredded. Common sense is awash in the surreal. As always, let go of the projections on all the silly drama. Laugh and let unwind. Some hard core disease noise kicks in by the end of the year. War too. But the wars are fought mostly in the virtual halls of money and power. People still pay the price as a result of the obscene greed of the pyramid scheming pharoahs at the top. The bottom is culpable in this greed. Now's the time to uncover those seedy sections of our slobbering slavery. The planet has paid too big of a price for this lesson in lessening in the name of MORE. More is now begetting lessens. Simply be. Enjoy yourself. Choose clearly. The old trappings of your life can fall away now. I encourage you all the way to your self.
