The FallHappy October! Tis an interesting month. For the first third there are four points of a Grand Pentagon in the planets. We don't see this very often. Maybe only once a decade or two. It is possible to get a full Pentagon but I have yet to see it. I have several clients who have the four of five points in their natal charts. The ultimate would be two intersecting Grand Pentagons, I reckon that would be a Grand Decagon. It would have all ten of the planets located in each 36 degrees, a semi-quintile. A Grand Pentagon has planets every 72 degrees, a quintile. Here's how the formation goes for the first eleven days of October: Saturn in late Cancer quintile to Sun-Mercury-Mars in early Libra quintile to Pluto in mid Sagitarrius quintile to Uranus in early Pisces. The missing fifth point is in mid Taurus. The Grand Pentagon is ephemeral but occurs Oct. 1st in the morning PDT. I've never seen it before. It is a jewel. So are you. It's important to keep the orbs, the number of degrees from exactness, very narrow in these subtle aspects and their formations. Quintiles have to do with remarkable talents, gifts, karmic jewels, genius and magic. They only fully operate if a fair amount of the karmic crud has been burned off. They may be there but they only glimmer now and again. As with all genius and magic, they aren't necessarily easy to live with for the bearer or for those around them, though the expression of the gifts themselves is naturally easy. The world is basically dumber than a bag of hammers so brilliance is not well met. Being gifted is like being beautiful: there's a shit load of projection upon the bearer. The crabs in the bucket tend to pull down the one who ascends above the norm. This archetypal imprint is burning this month. Please let your gifts out of the bag. I know you have been killed and such karmically. Come on out anyway. Some of us will meet you and appreciate you. Of course the other projecton on the pentagon is the devil business. What a stupid planet. Excuse me Gaia, what I mean is what a stupid humanity. The occult capacity to see through things, to see interdimensionally, to see through time/form and so forth is not evil. But in a lot of human lifetimes, gifted aware people were deemed crazy, satanic and wrong. For most people the world is flat and the Sun does revolve around them. Eccentrics, magicians, artists and seers ---- come out, come out wherever you are! As for our current week..... Things are tough but underneath there is genius at work. That may nto be enough consolation. We're in a generally rough patch. The planets are amorphic; their angular relationships fairly dissonant. People are tired of working hard and feeling as though things are hardly working for them. Fear is thick. This will continue to be the trend. Remember, all this collective crap is not who you are!!! It's helpful to know what kind of goop may be goopinating. Not so that you make it real but so that you can clear your identification in it. You are not the weather, nor the psychic weather. It has some effects but it is helpful to be aware and choose accordingly. This is why I write for you every week. I hope it is useful to you. If it is, please let me know. The planets simply reflect the collective emphasis on certain aspects of the Dream and its mechanisms. Consider that you are gifted, everyone is. I'm traveling around the United Kingdom sharing my astrologic and karmic clearing work. I see many kinds of people and in new cultures, the differences and nuances are even more apparent. I read people all the time. I read people and energies and patterns much more than I read books. What I see is that everybody indeed has distinct genius about all manner of things. Perhaps it is mundane, usually it is mundane, but wow, it's cool to see. Maybe you'll notice this week. Maybe you'll notice your own. It's time we not make such a big deal about our gifts and genius but just let it live and breathe without so much projection on it all. It's well to tell people stories about yourself and about them if you appreciate something. Just for fun. Just for fun in a fairly glum time. It's a creative grinder right now. You may not feel productive nor may you feel as though you are doing anything worthwhile but let it be and in time you'll see otherwise. This pentagonal window is not a once upon a time thing. These formations encourage the manifestation of what they are about. Let these days be initiatory to your creative genius and to the recognition of others as well. We can be complimentarily complementary. There's a lot of shinola going on from the power maggots. These lords of the flies are selling some nasty shit with shinola on top. America is the most propagandized culture to ever exist. The relentless advertising/entertainment/information machine runs corporate dogma non-stop. It has now embedded a large population into a seamless consumer culture. Big Brother is not so much watching. Rather everybody is watching Big Brother and they are not even noticing, not even Big Brother. There is no Big Brother per se. There is the culmination of corporate freedom and non-responsibility gone wild. It is destroying individual freedom and responsibility withouot thinking. This lack of discernment, this unconsciousness is the fertile field for what is a fascist agenda in America to see to it that corporate agenda has free, unfettered access to all beings and to all of the planet without any real checks and balances on it. What am I and you going to do about that? Maybe this month will foster awakening throughout the collective. Maybe we're not going to take it anymore but are we not going to give it anymore either? Being in the UK certainly enlightens my American excess consumption. Consumption is more sane here and I'm sure in Europe as well. It likely is still too much for the planet to bear but it'll still be decades, at best, before we get to toning down the human cancer on Gaia. Maybe we never will. I just confirmed with a botanist at Kew Gardens that the world will have lost half of all plant species in less than ten years from now. Consider that in terms of the food chain, of the web of life. But more importantly think of the psychic impact, the energetic impact of this. Essentially there is nothing can be done right now about this. We are too far over the edge of obscene consumption and reproduction. We are a scourge, plain and simple. What a shame we are, what a shame. Never the less it is all a Dream. The local reality is not a dream as we usually experience. I mourn but I am not the mourning, nor the evening of life if that how it all goes. Neither are you. Saving the planet will not work. We are having the direct experience of this. But if we are present with all this suffering, we can make clearer choices that will effect the local dream in ways supportive of life and the planet. Whether it's enough, we shall see. What I do see as I look at history and the human psyche is that saving does not work, it destroys too. Being present with things is so much simpler and thereby richer. Will Our barren hunger become conscious soon enough to slow the gross consumption? Listening indigenously may not be possible for those of us dwelling in the first world but maybe we can yet listen to the remnant ones who still hold threads to simply being present with the natural environment.
